Wow, I haven't updated since last year. I'm lazy. Here's some stuff that has happened in my life:

1. I got a kitten. KITTEN! Her name is Furtive.

2. I nearly didn't get enough English credits for university entrance, but since I was doing school by correspondence I could do some internal assessments late and still get them counted, so I did that. Apparently a lot of people had to enrol in the correspondence school this month just to get their English credits.

3. I enrolled in the Health Sciences First Year at the local university. Now that I've sort of learned how to do schoolwork I'll probably do OK. I have to do a test on Monday to see if I have to do the more basic English paper or not.

3.5 When I went down to the university for course approval my cousin accidentally stole a bottle of water from the Health Sciences course advisor.

4. I'm not dead.

5. My good computer chair is fixed. It spins, and the actual chair part moves back and forward in a way that is kind of like a rocking chair but it doesn't lean forward as much, and it's fun and I like it. YAY!

6. Um, that's enough for now.

2:47 am - Wow. This is a really stupid entry.
Ah, crap. My monitor is breaking again... well, not exactly again. It's the first time this particular monitor is breaking, but I've been through at least five in the last three years. It's breaking in a similar way to the one that went yellow, but it's going cyan instead. Now I just need one that goes magenta and I'll have collected them all. I wonder if I could trade them in for a prize...

I am 18 years old. I can now smoke, drink, vote and get free money from the government for not having a job. Hooray.

I think I'm going to start my own religion. It will be based on the New Testament of the Christian Bible, but we will believe that Jesus Christ was a time traveller from the future instead of the son of God. We can worship him anyway, though, because time travel is cool. We'll also worship time itself, and sacrifice clocks and watches to it in a futile attempt to make it leave us alone so we can stay young forever. It'll be fun.

People think you're really weird if, the first time they meet you, you are watching Dora the Explorer (well, I wasn't really watching it, but it looked like I was) and singing along with the backpack song.

Chemistry is not a good subject to do by correspondence. I have to arrange to do a couple of achievement standards in a lab at a school, this is going to be hard since most of the schools around here hate me because I attended and dropped out of them at some time. I drop out of school too often... I guess I'm not going to be doing that again, though.

Everyone who meets me thinks that either I'm incredibly intelligent and should become a brain surgeon, or that I'm incredibly stupid and should have brain surgery performed on me. If I get a good mark on a test, half the people I know say "Eh, you could've done much better" and the other half say "WOW! That's AMAZING! Do you know what "amazing" means?" It's really, really annoying.

OK, I didn't fail the eyesight test. I didn't fail the actual test part of the test, either. Hooray.

Soooo I'm going to do the motorbike learner theory test today. I'll probably fail the eyesight test again and have to go to an optometrist like I did when I got my car licence... oh well.

5:41 pm - ACTUALLY
I was supposed to listen to this tape I got from the correspondence school, but I couldn't because the woman on it was so annoying. I'm not sure if it was her voice or the fact that she said "actually" about once a sentence (on average). Probably both... I don't actually think she was actually saying anything I couldn't have actually worked out myself from the course guide, so I think it will actually be OK if I don't actually listen to her. Actually.

current mood: Actually
